Five in a race for 3 open Waunakee trustee seats
On April 7, Waunakee voters will decide which three of five candidates will serve the next two-year term as village trustee.
In the race for three open village board seats are incumbents Nila Frye and Erin Moran, along with John Soper, Teresa Hanson and Max Ujdak. Trustee Joe Zitzelsberger declined to run for another term.
Van Helps K9 Medical Group With Training, Assistance
The Waunakee Rotary Club is one of several organizations collaborating on a project to provide a van to the Operational K9 Medical Team of Wisconsin to transport staff and medical and training equipment for K9 officers and their K9 partners.
With the Stoughton Rotary Club, the Wisconsin Veterinary Medical Foundation and the Mack Foundation, the club presented $20,000 to Operational K9 Medical Team, which works to ensure the best possible care to injured K9s before they can get to a veterinary hospital.
